Talen was in the front yard with my mom while she was watering her Calla Lilies. The water was kind of spraying everywhere, and she told him, "I had better watch what I'm doing because I don't want to get you wet, you're not a flower." He then said, "Honey, I am not a flower, I am a Sunbeam."

Blossoms

I love when the blossoms come out every year. I thought it would be fun to take the kids out and get some fun pictures. Thanks to my dad for helping me and getting some sweet pictures. I guess I know where I get my eye from now.

Back to the zoo!

We had so much fun last week, we decided to go back to the zoo. Talen was excited to see the squirrels again. We saw some new animals this time, so that was fun. We might just have to buy a family membership.

6 months old Daddy!

Daddy, I am finally eating big kid food now and so far sweet potatoes are my favorite. I love to laugh and wiggle around like a worm when Mommy tries to get me dressed. Talen is such a good big brother; I love when he plays with me. Mommy thought I looked pretty cute in this outfit, so we had a little photo shoot today. I miss you and love watching you read me books.

Baby food anyone?

So, those of you who know me well, know that I don't cook. My friend finally forced me (I'm glad she did) to make baby food. I actually liked doing it. I thought it was going to be more complicated but I will definitely try it again. I had her take pictures of me to prove I made it myself...lol!

Trip to the zoo

My friend and I took the kids for a much needed trip to the zoo. We had lots of fun and couldn't figure out why we hadn't done it sooner. Talen liked seeing all the animals and watching them eat. He said his favorite part was seeing all the squirrels. As you can see one got really close to him and he almost got to touch it.
