I can't believe it's really happening!

Well today marks the day we officially started packing for the big move. I can't believe it is finally here it just seemed like yesterday that I was saying I have a year to get things ready. Well it is here and I haven't done a thing to prepare for it...lol! I guess thats why you have someone do it for you. Look out DC here we come!!!!!

Getting ready for Christmas!

Well most of you know by now that we are getting transferred to DC. We are excited for our new adventure but, I don't get to decorate for Christmas this year because they are packing us up before Christmas:( Thankfully my mom brought over a little something to keep my spirit up. This is the advent calendar I grew up with and always fought with my brother and sister who got to turn over baby Jesus on Christmas Day. Talen is having so much fun getting to turn a new one over everyday. It brings back such great memories:) Thanks mom!

Talen's 4th Birthday!

My parents came over and we had a little party for Talen on his actual Birthday. He was so excited to open his presents. Talen got his cute hat from all his friends at school.

Talen got a camera for his birthday and he loves it! I think he has taken a picture of every inch of our house. I caught him putting his toys on his bed and taking pictures of them. Happy Birthday buddy!

We had Talen's birthday at this fun place called Boingo's this year. From the look of things I am not sure who had more fun Jay or the kids...lol!

We had an amazing time while in VFA-146 but we are ready for a new adventure. We will miss our Blue Diamond family very much but, once a Diamond always a Diamond:)

Fire Station

Talen took another trip with his school to the Fire Station.

Talen told me his favorite part was getting to spray the fire hose.
