Pismo Beach

We went to the coast for the weekend and met up with Jay's parents.  It rained a lot but we still had fun.  I managed to convince my husband to take me to Splash Cafe 3 times:)

Of course we had to bring every train along.

So my husband bought me a new camera for Valentine's Day.  I got to test it out this weekend for the first time.  Can I just say I'm in LOVE!!!!!  Thank you honey:)

Last night:(

1st Train ride

We decided to take Talen on his first train ride.  He wasn't so sure about it at first but once the train started moving he loved it.  

They gave Talen a little conductor hat and a Thomas the Train book.  He didn't really like the hat but he loved the book.

He was sad to say goodbye.   

New Years!

We headed to Jay's parents cabin in Big Bear for the New Year.  It snowed just enough for us to do a little sledding and have some fun.  Talen didn't really like having to wear all his snow gear but he loved being outside.

Talen was helping cut some firewood.

Talen and I poked sticks in the snow for 2 hours.  

Christmas

We started out Christmas morning at our house and then went over to my parents later. Talen got everything you can think of Thomas the Train.

Talen helped pass out all the presents to everyone. I thought he would pass out like 1 or 2 and then be done but he did them all.

This is Talen's Aunt Heather. She played trains with him the whole time she was here. I am sure she got a whole years worth of train fun in the week she was here. Thanks Auntie for playing with me!

Truck...vroommmm!

Well my truck finally got back from the upholstery shop and looks soooo different.  I can't wait until it is finally done and I can actually drive it legally around the block.  I have only been waiting over 10 years for this...no pressure dad!

Gingerbread time!

Talen's Grandma Da brought him some Gingerbread cookies to decorate.  He had so much fun decorating his cookie and especially when he got to eat it:)

Santa Claus is coming to town!

We took Talen downtown to see Santa arrive on the train.  Talen LOVES trains so he was so excited to be standing by the railroad tracks.
