Play-Doh as Sparkler Holder

Prevent burned fingers by planting a sparkler’s stem in a tub of Play-Doh before lighting it. I am going to have to try this with Talen this year.

Squirt gun

Talen loves to be outside all day, everyday. He especially loves to climb all over my parents waterfall in their pool. He love to spray the water from the waterfall into the pool.

Captain and Son's camp-out

Well my Dad decided to take on the task of taking Talen to Father and Son's this year. He said Talen had so much fun playing in the sand and running up and down the hills. He did really good up until that night when he wanted to come home. My dad was about to pack up and head home when all of a sudden he turned around and Talen was passed out in the back of the jeep. Thanks for taking him Captain:)

Train ride to San Diego

My parents took Talen on a train ride to San Diego and he had a great time. They went to Old town San Diego and Talen got to learn a little history about the Mormon Battalion.

iChatting Daddy from Bahrain

Talen was soooo excited to get to iChat with his Daddy for 3 days in a row. He would sit there for an hour and just talk and make silly faces. I am so thankful to Mac for the technology they created to allow us to do this.

Yes, I still have our wedding cake from 6 years ago. I just didn't have the heart to throw it away. I miss you and can't wait for you to come home. I am so proud of you and I love you more now then the day I married you! I can't wait for our next adventures together:) Muahhh!!!

FRG BBQ

We went to our Squadron party for the kids to celebrate half-way! We had a great time until right at the end when Talen got stung by a bee 3 times on his foot...ugh! I didn't realize it until the next morning when he said his foot hurt. I took off his sock and it was all red and swollen:( Thank goodness for candy and calamine lotion to make it better.

Favorite spot

Addison discovered this one day, after rolling under the coffee table. She loves to put her feet up and grab the bars. Talen couldn't miss out on all the fun; so he had to check it out.
