Talen's 1st big accident

So, Talen had a pretty bad accident last night.  He was climbing up on his little chair and he fell over right on his face on the kitchen floor.  His tooth went through part of his upper lip and he chipped two of his bottom teeth.  We took him to the dentist today and he said that he will be fine.   It is amazing how different he looks with swollen lips.  I would do anything to take this pain away from him.  My heart just hurts every time I look at him and see his lips.  Jay took him outside a lot today to cheer him up.

Floating down the river

Jay's family came for the weekend and we decided to take the boys to the river.  I haven't been since I was in High School so, I forgot how fun it was and definitely forgot how COLD the water was.

Homecoming!

After a long 6 months, Jay finally came home.  I went and picked him up down in San Diego at the pier.  It was fun to see the ship pull in and see all the excited sailors coming home.  My mom and Sue got to participate in the Tiger Cruise this year.  After a long 6 days they were excited to finally step on land.

Mom and Sue proudly showing off their Tiger Warfare Pins they earned.

Our neighbor Mark surprised Jay with this fun homecoming sign.  Thanks Mark:)

Happy 4th of July Daddy!

We had another fun block party this year.  Once again the shaved ice was a big hit with the kids.  It's the one day they can have as many shaved ice (tons of sugar) as they want. lol!  Talen loved this piece of watermelon so much he carried it around for 30 minutes until every bite was gone.

Backyard fun!

I love this picture!!!  My mother in-law brought this table home from school for Talen to play with.  Whenever he would eat he would go out and sit at this little table.  He liked to take the monkey and put him in the chair next to him.  Another picture of my son with spoons in his hands. lol!  This kid loves spoons!  Thanks Da for my fun table:)

Another day at Boingos

We went back to Boingos and Talen learned how to climb the slide all by himself.  If you know my son he likes to do things over and over again.  He pooped himself out climbing that thing so many time, when it was time to leave he was having a complete melt down.  That is me smiling trying to stay calm and telling myself not to leave my son at Boingos with the owner. lol!
